The Department of Budget and Management is issuing this Invitation for Bid to procure a contractor to serve as a process server for the DBM Central Collection Unit (CCU) pre and post judgment litigation. Specifically, the State’s requirement is for the services of a contractor to:
a) Serve process on parties in CCU’s litigation and certain others; and b) Prepare and file affidavits, all in accordance with the Maryland Rules and this IFB.

The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services through the Office of Procurement will issue a solicitation for HIV patient’s failing treatment. The tests to be performed are: PhenoSense GT, PhenoSense Intergrase S3200 and Trofile Assays. This opportunity may be available to the Local Small Business Reserve Program (LSBRP), if there is a competitive LSBRP pool of vendors within 30 days.

The Montgomery County Department of General Services through the Office of Procurement will issue a solicitation for Fencing on a time and material basis for new installation and repair services at County owned and operated facilities. UMMS is extending an invitation to attend an outreach event for the R. AdamsCowley Shock Trauma Center. Those interested in attending and possibly doing business with UMMS should respond as directed by December 2, 2009. Below is a general scope of the project.

The proposed Trauma, Critical Care, and Emergency Medicine Services Expansion Project (Phase IV)is located at the corner on Penn and Lombard Streets in Baltimore Maryland. The project consists of140,000sq. ft. of new construction and 120,000sq. ft. of renovation.  The new building will have multiple levelswith an exterior brick tile and glass skin. A new helipad willbe located on roof of the mechanical penthouse. This project willhave 64 new ICU rooms, 10 ORs, 18 PACU bays, new adult ED, Lab andCSP facilities. Also, the existing Shock Trauma building will undergo extensive renovations to the existing ICU units.

Theoutreach event will take place at the University of Maryland Student Center, which is located at 621 W. Lombard Street,Ballroom A (room 208),Baltimore, MD 21201. Registration will begin at8:30 a.m. and will continue through 9:15 a.m. UMMSwill present a Safe Construction training session at the conclusion of the fair.
