GBC seeks nominations for Bridging the Gap Achievement Award

The Maryland Hispanic Chamber would like to nominate Hispanic Business for the The Greater Baltimore Committee's Fifth Annual Bridging the Gap Achievement Awards to be held on October 8, 2008 at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African-American History. Outstanding businesses in the following categories will be recognized:

Minority/Women-Owned Business that has demonstrated outstanding achievement.

Majority-Owned Business –
corporations or individual executives that have shown leadership in the area of inclusive business practices.

Partnership or Strategic Alliance that generates new business opportunities for minority or women-owned businesses.

NEW! - President's Award – individual who has worked tirelessly to advocate for the advancement of minority and women-owned businesses in the Greater Baltimore region.
To nominate a candidate for any of these awards, please complete an application form by September 2, 2008. Self-nominations are acceptable.

Hispanic Heritage Golf Classic

For the sixth consecutive year, the Baltimore Hispanic Chamber of Commerce presents its annual: Hispanic Heritage Golf Classic in celebration of Hispanic Heritage month.  We are proud to be working together with our sister organization in Baltimore City to make this the best golf outing yet.  We encourage all our members to actively participate in the event and help advertise and promote this great event.
