A core benefit of the Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for its members is access to a suite of events designed to promote marketing, networking, and corporate education and growth opportunities. Our events also provide excellent opportunities to work with leaders and activists within local, state and federal government organizations. Events such as our small business seminars and luncheons expose our membership to the recognized leaders who have first hand experience running successful businesses. Through our effective teaming and partnership initiatives, these events bring leveraged access to the top Hispanic businesses in the region as well as other leading financial, accounting, government, and professional construction and service corporations.
The Events Committee is unique in this chamber in that every member of the Board of Directors is expected to sponsor at least one event. Some events such as the annual Awards Gala or the Hispanic Business Conference are of such scale as to require the support of multiple board and committee members. Our very successful events have brought not only immense tangible value to our chamber’s members but also a great sense of accomplishment and satisfaction to the Events Committee members.
