Patricia Omaña is Managing Partner at Solucion Inc., a strategic marketing, sales and promotions company with a focus on the Hispanic market. Who works with advertising agencies, national companies and local businesses to help them target this coveted growing population.

Ms. Omaña, attended Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY and earned a degree in Communications, Television and Radio Production. She began her career in 1988 at Univision Network´s New York office in the sales area where she was exposed and worked with Qualitative and Quantitave research information leading her to move into the research area, she made a move to Florida to work for GEMS Television (currently Mun2s), a cable channel distributed in the U.S. and Latin America, this gave her the opportunity to conduct research studies in the top 10 Hispanic U.S cities, in Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico. In 1996, Ms. Omaña joined the four Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation radio stations (currently Univision Radio) in Miami, FL as their Research Director, where she analyzed and positioned the research information to increment sales.

Ms. Omaña, move to Maryland to work for Arbitron, the research company that compiles data on radio audience in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. In her capacity as Senior Policy Analyst she worked with all the Spanish language stations in the U.S. and Puerto Rico and changed, implemented new policy to better measure these stations.

In 2004, she joined WILC-AM VIVA 900, a ZGS Communications radio station in Laurel, MD, where she started in sales, moved on to National Sales and ultimately General Manager. In her capacity, Ms. Omaña pushed the station to a community focus, opening the microphone to organizations so that the community as a whole is informed about everything that matters in their day to day lives.

In addition, she was chosen by Cambridge Who’s Who in Media, works very closely with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (an organization very close to her heart) helping them to brand their name within the Hispanic community in the DC metropolitan area, she also forms part of the Maryland Hispanic Business Conference Planning Board.
